The Complete A-Z of Post-War British League Riders

We are hoping to compile a  record of every speedway rider to have ridden in a post-war league or cup fixture in Britain.

Due to production costs and the large amount of pages involved, we are publishing our work in CD format which is readable on a PC. Each disc is split into decades with a rider appearing once, with the decade the rider made their debut being the deciding factor. Parts One and Two are available now.

Part One covers the 583 riders who made their post-war debuts in the 1940s. At almost 400 pages, it features a profile of each rider by Matt Jackson, year by year statistics by Hugh Vass and is packed with superb photos from the John Somerville collection.

Part Two covers the 459 riders who first appeared in the 1950s, including such greats as Ove Fundin, Barry Briggs, Ivan Mauger, Ronnie Moore and Peter Craven, as well as the lesser known riders who rode in the Southern Area League.
